Bayman’s Bounty: The Flavor and History of the Peconic Bay Scallop

Saturday, March 3 | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
If you’ve ever wondered how the marine environment affects the flavor of Peconic Bay’s most beloved bivalve, then you’re in luck. Culinary historian Charity Robey – who first presented her research on the Peconic Bay scallop at the 2017 Oxford Symposium on Food & Cookery – will be our guest speaker, followed by a scallop demonstration and tasting. Poquatuck Hall, Village Lane, Orient. Space is limited to 30. Suggested donation: $30. RSVP 631-323-2480 or office@ohsny.org
