Rum Running: Talk and Tasting with Historian Amy Folk

Saturday, November 9 | 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

**ATTENTION: This event was originally scheduled for 10/12, however due to an emergency the event will be rescheduled. We have listed a tentative date of 11/9, but this date is subject to change. Please check back soon and keep an eye out for an e-mail detailing the new, confirmed program date. Thank you for your understanding.**

In Hotels and Inns of the North Fork (2009), co-authors Amy Folk and Geoffrey Fleming fix their historian’s lens on the subject of Rum Running. During Prohibition times, our local small ports were a favorite stop on the Rumrunner’s map, contributing to the “leisure industry” of the day. Amy will share stories based on archival research. Drinks and appetizers served. Registration is required.
