Rum Running: Talk and Tasting with Historian Amy Folk

Saturday, November 9 | 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

“Rum Running” has been officially rescheduled!

Saturday, November 9
3:30pm – 5:00pm

Location: Poquatuck Hall, Orient
Cost: FREE!*

In Hotels and Inns of the North Fork (2009), co-authors Amy Folk and Geoffrey Fleming fix their historian’s lens on the subject of Rum Running. During Prohibition times, our local small ports were a favorite stop on the Rumrunner’s map, contributing to the “leisure industry” of the day. Amy will share stories based on archival research. Appetizers served. Registration is required.

*Although this is a free event, registration is required so that we have an accurate headcount.
