Come and experience the history and
exceptional beauty of the easternmost villages of the North Fork
of Long Island –
Orient and East Marion. The Oysterponds Historical Society has
meticulously created a living record of the culture of these
villages. Through the donations of buildings, land, paintings,
furniture, textiles, and a rich collection of personal
memorabilia from the founding families themselves, the Society
interprets the rich history of this remarkable area.
