“Alone Together” virtual lecture: How to Assemble a Go-Bag
Everyone should keep a knapsack or shoulder bag by the door, ready to grab the moment disaster strikes. A well-thought-out “Go Bag” or emergency supply kit filled with essential items provides peace of mind.
Douglas Gray, 2nd lieutenant in the Orient Fire Dept. Rescue Squad, will discuss how to be more prepared in anticipation of dealing with emergencies of the most common sort.
Douglas will describe the different types of “Go Bags” and suggest contents based on government Community Emergency Response Team, Medical Reserve Corps, and FEMA recommendations—as well as common sense.
