Pictured: Two portraits that are part of the “Recent Acquisitions” exhibition in Village House. The sisters portrayed are Elizabeth Brown Dyer Tuthill (1815-1870) and Laura Lavinia Dyer Holmes (1802-1883). They were painted in 1842 by W.G. Brown, Jr., a young English artist, shortly after he arrived in New York.

Admission for non-Member Adults is $10, which grants same-day access to all buildings. For OHS Members & Children, admission to our buildings and exhibitions is free.
