Named after local schoolmaster, tavern keeper, store owner, and Oysterponds diarist Augustus Griffin (1767-1866), the Griffin Giving Circle program is a unique membership initiative that supports needed investments in our collection, including OHS’s historical buildings and grounds, and our ongoing mission to bring the community together.
Members of the Griffin Giving Circle (GGC) receive all the benefits of basic membership, including free admission to all exhibitions, members nights, a 10% discount at the Beach Plum Shop, and a monthly newsletter from Executive Director Alison Ventura.
All first-time GGC members will have their name(s) added to the Griffin Giving Walkway at the entrance of Poquatuck Park on a personalized brick.
