Regarding Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

Donor-Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a tax-advantaged investment account for individuals and families to make charitable donations to 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporations like Oysterponds Historical Society, Inc.  Donor-advised fund owners make donations to their funds, which are maintained by a sponsoring organization that provides a tax receipt, and then recommend grant distributions to nonprofit organizations of their choosing.

Please consider a DAF recommendation to Oysterponds Historical Society, Inc. to help OHS care for our collections, maintain our historic buildings, and offer engaging programs that connect the past to the present.

DAF Sponsoring Organizations include (but are not limited to): Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust (NPT), American Endowment Foundation, and Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund, among others.
