Marianne Howard
Executive Director
Marianne Howard has been the Executive Director of OHS since 2019. She received her Bachelors in Anthropology from the University at Albany, SUNY and her Masters in Anthropology/Museum Studies from Arizona State University. She has held leadership positions in museums and social service agencies across Long Island and in New York City, and has served on the board of directors for small museums and museum professional organizations. She currently lives in Middle Island with her husband, Bill, and her two four-legged kids, Charley and Brownie.

William McNaught
Curator
William McNaught has been Curator of OHS since 2012. He was previously Director of OHS, Director of The American Museum in Britain, New York Regional Director of the Archives of American Art for the Smithsonian Institution, and Curatorial Assistant and Lecturer at The Frick Collection. He has served on the boards of The American Friends of the Attingham Summer School, The Attingham Trust in London, and The Bath Preservation Trust.

Amy Folk
Collections Manager
Amy Folk has been Collections Manager of OHS since 2003. She is also Archivist and Curator for the Southold Historical Society, and Southold Town Historian. Ms. Folk is currently the Immediate Past-President for the Long Island Museum Association, as well as the co-author of several award winning books on Southold history.

Colin Palmer
Membership and Marketing Manager
Colin Palmer joined OHS in 2017 to coordinate membership outreach efforts. He has been active in artistic groups across the North Fork including as director of the 2013 and 2019 Greenport Shakespeare in the Park productions. His interests include theater, American history, education, and historic preservation.

Catherine Jordan
Office Manager
Catherine Jordan has been the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant at OHS since 2019. Her interests include education, wellness and history. Catherine also teaches infant classes at the Southold Library and hopes to teach throughout Suffolk County.
