For its 2021 Road Show, Water Mill, NY’s Parrish Art Museum joined Oysterponds Historical Society
in inviting mixed-media artist Darlene Charneco to create a site-specific exhibition,
Symbiosome Schoolhouse, at OHS’s Old Point Schoolhouse.

Where:  Old Point Schoolhouse, 1555 Village Lane, Orient, NY

When:  Fridays 2-5pm, Saturdays 11am-2pm, Sundays 2-5pm

Closes Sunday, October 24th @ 5pm

Ms. Charneco is an East-End-based, contemporary Latin-American artist who creates mixed-media mapping series to explore and navigate the layered spaces we live in. For the past two years she has been artist-in-residence at the William Steeple Davis Trust studying, living, and working in the artist’s former house and studio in Orient, NY.
