Besides cleaning and organizing the Red Barn to create and house what is now a new permanent multi-media exhibition, John & Joyce Holzapfel are especially noteworthy for their enthusiastic, ever-present volunteerism (including giving tours, caring for OHS’s buildings and grounds, and doing research in OHS’s archives)—not to mention John’s multiple stints filling in as interim executive director.

This special evening includes a tour through the new exhibition and a reception with cocktails and a delicious seasonal selection of hors d’oeuvres prepared by Ned Baldwin, Oysterponds Shellfish Co., Catapano Dairy Farm, and Orient Country Store, topped off with a sweet treat!

In addition, there will be a toast to the Holzapfels to acknowledge all they mean to OHS.
